The Armenians of Colorado organization represents over 500 Armenian families living in the state of Colorado. Events are held year round to keep the community close and to keep our culture strong.

Bring the kids, grand parents, and even the pets, and enjoy great Armenian food and Armenian company. This year, we will again have backgammon games and tournaments, volleyball, soccer, frisbee games, and other activities that celebrate being an Armenian in our beautiful state of Colorado.
Come hungry and enjoy the delicious kebab and grilled chicken, plus salad, humus, deserts, and much more.
Food will be served from 12:30pm to 2:00 pm Meal Tickets will be $15 for adults, $5 for children under 10 Beer $2.00, Soft Drinks and water $1.00

Nersessian Saturday April 19, 2008 1:30PM At University of Denver Lindsay Auditorium at Sturm Hall 2000 E. Asbury Avenue in Denver Sponsored by Armenians of Colorado and Facing History and Ourselves, with the support of Political Science and History Departments at the University of Denver David L. Nersessian, is the Executive Director of the Harvard Law School Program on the Legal Profession and Center on Lawyers and the Professional Services Industry. He earned his D Phil (PhD) in Law from Oxford University, where his research concentrated on public international law, international criminal law, and genocide. He earned his JD magnac umlaude from Boston University School of Law in 1995. Please bring all of your friends. Coffee Reception will follow. Saturday, April 12, 11:00 am – Planting at the Armenian Garden We will gather at the Armenian Genocide Memorial Plaque, located at the North-East quadrant of State Capitol grounds, on 14th street between Lincoln and Grant, for planting of the flowers at the Armenian Garden. In case it rains, we will plant on Sunday, April 20, at 11:00 am Thursday, April 24, 8:45 am – 7th Annual Armenian Genocide Resolution We will gather at State Senator Lois Tochtrop’s office, 200 E. Colfax in Denver, Room 333 on the 3rd floor in the south west side of the Capitol building. Public entrance is on Colfax and Sherman/North Wing. Please be prompt; we will then proceed to the Senate Chambers. The Armenian resolution will be the first order of business. Following the vote of the resolution, a special tour of the Capitol will be conducted by Simon Maghakyan, State Capitol Assistant Manager of Visitor Services.
